This is a quality product. The documents are well presented and interesting. I have also been impressed by how thoughtful History By Mail is with their customer communication. So many subscription services take advantage of their customers by sneakily auto renewing without any warning and making their cancellation process intentionally convoluted. Not History By Mail. These guys sent me a reminder email over a week before my subscription was due to auto renew with an easy cancellation link included, just in case I wanted to use it. That is such a classy move. This is the kind of company I like dealing with. I have renewed my subscription for another year.

I purchased this subscription as a gift for my son (age 14) who’s into history. When we received the first month we were very impressed with the replica documents and the extra information sheets giving historically accurate information on the document. Due to them being replicas, it can be difficult to read based on the language or font that everything used to be written in, so the info sheets that explain what everything means and says is so helpful. Very cool and unique gift idea. There’s also an option for Urban Legends that I added on which has really cool stuff!

For the past 2-3 years now, I’ve loved history. I’m 14 and only recently learned how much history meant to me. When my grandma discovered this, she immediately signed me up and at first glance I knew this was the best subscription I’ve ever subscribed to. History? And mail? My two favorite things! Since my school doesn’t have the ever history program, I’ve been so excited to get mail monthly and learn new things that happened sometime in the past. I highly recommend history by mail, it’s amazing.

I gave History by Mail to my Dad years ago and he’s still loving it to this day. I love that he gets enjoyment out of ‘receiving mail’.

It's been quite while since I've been in school, so this program is not only a re-education, but provides more depth then anything in a textbook.

I gifted my Dad a yearly subscription & for some reason they stopped coming. I reached out to customer service & we ultimately had to send to an alternative address. They resent the missing letters soon as we knew the updated address was working. They responded quickly & I didn't even have to ask for them to resend the missing ones. Plus, my Dad loves these letters.

Love to receive these in the mail monthly.
