History By Mail is a monthly subscription service for reproductions of historical letters and documents. Each letter comes with a separate document explaining the context of the letter including its author, recipient, and relevance to the events of its time, as well as a transcription when necessary.

If you want to send it to someone else, check the box that says “I want to send this as a gift.”
After checking the box, you can enter:
- The recipient’s email
- The recipient’s name (optional)
- A personal message (optional)
If you leave the box unchecked, the digital gift card will be sent to your email instead.
2. Receive the Digital Gift Card
After checkout:
- If you selected “I want to send this as a gift,” the digital gift card is emailed directly to the recipient.
- If you did not select the gift option, the digital gift card is delivered to your email.
The email includes the gift card value, unique code, and instructions on how to use it.
3. Redeem on Any Product or Subscription
- Enter the gift card code at checkout.
- The gift card can be used on any product or subscription available on our website.
- A digital gift card with a unique code
- The ability to use the gift card on any product or subscription available on our website
- Freedom to choose which historical themes or collections they want to explore
- The remaining amount stays on the gift card and can be used across multiple orders until it reaches zero
